Meet Paul Handsaker,

seed treatment specialist for Unified Ag Solutions. Paul services UAS customers across Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois and Wisconsin.

How long have you been with UAS?

Started September 15, 2021.

  

What do you enjoy most about working at UAS?

  1. Working with farmers and seed dealers to gain control of their seed treatment opportunities to not only have top-quality seed treatment, but also create a stronger bottom line.

  2. Working with a family business that truly cares about their customer and employees. A company that is completely transparent about the products that are sold to their customers and follow the moral high ground.

 

What is your history in the ag industry?

I grew up on the family farm in central Iowa. I have been around or in the seed business all my life. I have been in Agriculture Sales since graduating college. I have had the opportunity to work for several great companies that has taken me across the United States and Canada. (Iowa Soybean Association, Farm Progress Publications, Exiss Aluminum Trailers, AgReliant Genetics and Now Unified Ag Solutions.)

 

What do you enjoy most about the ag industry?

Helping our customers find ways to gain higher yields and provide a safe and quality product to the end user.

 

Ballparking, how many treaters have you serviced in your career?

In my first year I have been able to sell and or service over 35 treaters.

 

What value do you, personally, bring to your customers?

Honesty and transparency. Determination to make sure it is done right! Customer service that exceeds the customer’s expectations.

 

How many miles are on your truck this year?

77,800+ in my first year.

 

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

Helping my family succeed:

  1. My son, finishing college and helping him build his cattle business.

  2. My daughter, supporting her in her first year of college and watching her play softball at the college level.

  3. Helping my wife to continue to build a top-quality Angus cattle herd. Travel and take in rodeos and livestock shows.

Ribeye steak.
