Introducing UAS ZN+: High-Performance Zinc Seed Treatment

Introducing UAS ZN+: High-Performance Zinc Seed Treatment

Early season performance sets the tone for yield potential.

That’s why Unified Ag Solutions developed UAS ZN+, a high-performance zinc seed treatment built to deliver immediate zinc availability at emergence — when crops need it most.

Zinc plays a critical role in early plant development. But in many soils across the Midwest and beyond, early-season zinc availability can be limited. UAS ZN+ is designed to close that gap.

What Is UAS ZN+?

UAS ZN+ is a highly concentrated zinc seed treatment delivering 5.78 lbs. of actual Zinc (Zn) per gallon.

Formulated for performance and efficiency, UAS ZN+ gives crops immediate access to soluble zinc at the most critical stage — emergence and early root development.

It’s a smart, cost-effective way to address early season zinc demands across all soil types.

Why Early Zinc Matters

Zinc supports key physiological processes including:

  • Root and shoot growth

  • Early vigor

  • Enzyme activation

  • Stress tolerance

If zinc is limited early, yield potential can be restricted before the season truly begins. By delivering zinc directly on the seed, UAS ZN+ ensures the crop has access to this critical micronutrient immediately after planting.

Immediate Access. Stronger Start.

Traditional soil-applied zinc can be tied up, diluted, or unavailable when young roots need it most. Seed-applied zinc changes that.

Because UAS ZN+ is placed directly on the seed:

  • Zinc is positioned exactly where roots first develop

  • Soluble Zn is available at emergence

  • Early growth stress can be reduced

  • Germination can improve

This targeted delivery improves establishment and supports stronger early season growth.

Performance Backed by Field Results

In a two-year summary trial across Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa (2017–2018), UAS ZN+ demonstrated measurable performance gains.

Corn yield results showed:

  • Base: 195.5 bu/acre

  • UAS ZN+: 197.8 bu/acre

Field performance metrics also indicated improved vigor and stand compared to the control.

Small advantages early can translate into meaningful yield impact at harvest.

Flexible, Compatible & Easy to Integrate

UAS ZN+ is designed to work seamlessly within your existing seed treatment program.

  • Compatible with most fungicides and insecticides

  • Can be applied as an overcoat treatment

  • Low use rates make it easy to incorporate without compromising overall treatment viability

Because of its concentration and efficiency, UAS ZN+ allows you to add micronutrient support without jeopardizing the cost or compatibility of your full treatment package.

Recommended Use Rates

UAS ZN+ seed treatment rates include:

  • Corn: 4–6 fl oz/cwt

  • Soybeans: 2 fl oz/cwt

  • Barley, Rice & Wheat: 2–6 fl oz/cwt

  • Legumes & Large Seeded Vegetables: 2–4 fl oz/cwt

As always, consult your local UAS representative for specific mixing order and application instructions.

Built for All Soil Types

Zinc deficiency can show up in:

  • High pH soils

  • Cool, early planting conditions

  • Sandy or low organic matter fields

UAS ZN+ provides a reliable, seed-applied zinc source that supports early plant nutrition regardless of soil variability.

When early growth is protected, the crop can focus on maximizing yield potential.

Why Seed-Applied Zinc Makes Sense

Adding zinc through a seed treatment approach:

  • Places nutrients directly at the seed zone

  • Reduces reliance on soil movement

  • Improves early availability

  • Supports uniform emergence

And because UAS ZN+ delivers 5.78 lbs. of actual Zn per gallon, you get concentrated performance in a low-use-rate formulation.

Stronger Starts Lead to Stronger Finishes

At Unified Ag Solutions, we focus on products that improve early season performance without complicating your treating process. UAS ZN+ was built with that mindset.
