Meet the UAS Family: Emily Sturm

Meet Emily Sturm,

administrator and part-owner for Unified Ag Solutions. Emily wears all hats for UAS, and is located at the UAS HQ in Omaha, NE. Emily ensures day-to-day business orders, pricing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, HR, payroll, etc. are organized for business success.

Here’s a little more about her…

How long have you been with UAS?

I started with Unified Ag Solutions in June 2015.

What do you enjoy most about working at UAS?

Working with my family and watching our company continue to grow. It’s amazing to be part of a business. I enjoy helping make executive decisions to assure Unified Ag Solutions stays around for many, many years. We are here to stay.

What is your history in the ag industry?

I didn’t start working in the ag industry until June 2015 with Unified Ag Solutions, but I would say agriculture runs in my blood. My parents grew up on farms and my father, Roger, has instilled the drive needed to be successful in the ag industry and in life: hard work and determination.

What do you enjoy most about the ag industry?

The people. Agriculture is made up of down-to-earth, diligent people.

Ballparking, how many treaters have you serviced in your career?

None 😊. But I’ve sent plenty of purchase orders for treaters and treating equipment.

What value do you, personally, bring to your customers?

Trust. If I don’t have the answer, I will find the answer. Customers can count on me (and Unified Ag Solutions) to provide the best information for seed treating needs.

How many miles are on your truck this year?

Only commuting to the office so I’ll skip this one too.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

Being with my family. I have a 2-year-old son that keeps me very busy.

Favorite meal?

I enjoy a good Mexican-style meal. Whether it’s a taco salad or a delicious enchilada.

Favorite drink?

Classic water with lemon slice. You can always catch me walking around with a bottled water.
