Meet Brent Nesbitt,
seed treatment specialist for Unified Ag Solutions. He services UAS customers all over the country (and Puerto Rico too!). Brent’s core sales area is in Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota.

How long have you been with UAS?

What do you enjoy most about working at UAS?
Working with our customers to find solutions that work for them. Really enjoy the customer service aspect where UAS becomes more than just a supplier for seed treatment and seed treaters, but more of a partner in our customers’ businesses. Seeing our customers succeed brings great satisfaction.
What is your history in the ag industry?
Grew up around agriculture my whole life. Early on I watched my father build a seed company from the ground up, with a focus on interacting with customers and employees. Also was fortunate to do the fun jobs like detasseling and rouging…
What do you enjoy most about the ag industry?
The ag industry is always changing with new technologies. You have to always be on the lookout for new ways to adapt in the industry. Every day is different, so there is never a dull moment.
Ballparking, how many treaters have you serviced in your career?
Hard to say but would estimate over 400 treaters and over 200 bulk sites.
What value do you, personally, bring to your customers?
Honesty. I always strive to put myself in their shoes and find the seed treatments and equipment that will work for them. If I have a more cost-effective way for my customers to achieve the amount of protection they are looking for on seed, I will offer that instead of trying to up sell them.
How many miles are on your truck?
Currently 65,000, but the year is still early so will most likely be pushing 95,000 by year end.
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
Spend time with my beautiful wife and our new son Beckham. Also enjoy golfing when I have time on the weekends.

Pizza from Valentino’s (Nebraska pizza chain)
